Damein Bell

Damein is working on native title, cultural strengthening and heritage as well as community development; exploring ways to recognise and respect cultural landscapes.
Damein Bell is a Gunditjmara man and based at Cape Bridgewater, Victoria, Australia. His most recent role is as CEO of Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation. At Gunditj Mirring, under instruction from the Gunditjmara community, he implemented and advocated for Gunditjmara in native title and cultural heritage.
Damein has been a board member of the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, and a board member of Native Title Services Victoria. He has studied at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Damein is a member of the Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority and the Budj Bim Council.
