Angela is building collaborations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Victoria.

Angela’s commitment to social change has shaped her career. Initially working in advertising and marketing, Angela has reoriented her career towards developing civic leadership.

For Angela, that means leadership for social change, where community, equality and nature is at the heart of what we do. She works with Leadership Victoria, designing and delivering leadership programs and other initiatives to strengthen values-driven, purposeful leadership for the common good. Angela led Climate Reality Australia & Asia Pacific Hub for several years to develop a committed community of advocates; collaborating with her peers in other countries to build capacity globally. As Director of Engagement at the Australian Conservation Foundation, Angela led the development of new values-based narrative and community engagement strategies, resulting in a growing and vibrant community speaking out for a world where nature thrives.

Through the Atlantic Fellows program, Angela will draw on her skills to explore the development of a project to build trust, treaty, and unity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Victoria to drive positive Indigenous-led social change.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Swinburne University and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact from the Centre for Social Impact (University of Melbourne – Melbourne Business School).
